Zungulila Bushcamp, nestled on the serene banks of the Kapamba River, offers stunning vistas of the unspoiled southern section of South Luangwa. The camp features four charming thatched chalets, each with outdoor showers, wash-basins, toilets, and impressive oversized bathtubs. Accommodation options include two twin rooms with two queen beds each and two double rooms with one king bed in each. The chalets are equipped with solar-powered hot and cold running water, toiletries, standing floor fans, and mosquito nets.

The central lounge, bar, and dining area provide breathtaking views of the Kapamba River and Muchinga Escarpment. Guests can also enjoy a sunken deck with a boma area and a fully stocked bar. The camp is powered by solar energy and offers limited charging facilities. Lighting is provided by solar light and paraffin lamps. A limited laundry service is available free of charge.

Zungulila Bushcamp welcomes children aged 12 years and older. Families traveling with children under 12 years old have the option to reserve a private camp or hire a private guide and vehicle for their stay. Upon arrival at Mfuwe International Airport, guests will be taken to Mfuwe Lodge for refreshments before heading to Zungulila Bushcamp. The drive from Mfuwe Lodge to Zungulila Bushcamp takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, offering game-viewing opportunities through the South Luangwa National Park.

The closest airport is Mfuwe International Airport, which has a maximum luggage allowance of 23kg per person packed in soft bags for scheduled flights. The flight time from Lusaka to Mfuwe is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Additionally, Kapamba Airstrip is available for charter flights and is located a 20-minute drive away from Zungulila.

Gratuities at Zungulila Bushcamp are at the discretion of guests based on their satisfaction with the service provided, with no obligation to tip. However, as a guideline, guests may consider tipping in the region of US$5.00 to US$20.00 per guest per day for guides and general staff if they find the service exceptional.

The South Luangwa experiences mild winter days from May to mid-August with chilly evenings, while September through April is generally quite warm. The dry season spans from May to October, while the rest of the year brings the wet season.
