Ila Safari Lodge

Opened in July 2016, Ila Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the Kafue River in Central Kafue and can be reached by road or air from Lusaka. The lodge comprises 10 luxury tents, each uniquely designed to blend in with the natural environment and offering unobstructed views of the Kafue. Families can opt for the Ila Luxury Family Tents, which have panoramic views of the river, two bedrooms separated by a curtain, and can accommodate up to four guests. Additionally, the adjacent Ila Safari House features a private pool and seven rooms, providing an exclusive experience for up to 14 guests.

For couples in search of privacy and romance, the Ila Luxury Couples Tents offer a serene and intimate experience in the heart of the Kafue wilderness. These tents are accessible via a raised wooden walkway and offer modern under-canvas safari comfort with both outdoor and indoor seating areas, creating an ideal setting for a romantic getaway.
