Kulandila Camp – Sungani

Kulandila Camp is located by the beautiful Luangwa River and a lagoon. It’s a place for relaxation and enjoying nature. The camp has four raised tents connected by pathways. The main area overlooks the lagoon and the river, and there’s a swimming pool and viewing decks with great views. The dining area is outside, and there are comfy living spaces and a cozy bar with nice furniture and decorations that give it an authentic safari feel. The tents have indoor bathrooms, outdoor baths, and other amenities like mosquito nets, tea/coffee facilities, and daily laundry service. The menu is created at Sungani kitchen, using simple and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. They can also accommodate different dietary needs if you let them know in advance. The bar offers cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, as well as a tea and coffee bar. Kulandila Camp is one of the most southerly camps in the South Luangwa National Park, just a bit upstream from Sungani Lodge.

Upon your arrival at Mfuwe International Airport, they will meet you and fly you to the Sungani airstrip in their plane. The total flying time is approximately 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can choose to travel by road, which takes about 3 hours from Mfuwe International Airport.
