Sungani Lodge – Sungani

Sungani Lodge is the southernmost camp in the park, and it is complemented by the lovely Kulandila Camp just a short distance upstream. The accommodations include both indoor and outdoor seating, a private deck and plunge pool, indoor and outdoor bathrooms, mosquito nets, closet space, tea/coffee making facilities, minibar, air conditioning, ceiling fan, 24-hour power and WIFI (220V power outlets), complimentary daily laundry service, luxury linens, and a variety of amenities.

Sungani offers simple and delicious cuisine with a focus on traditional flavors, sourcing local ingredients whenever possible. If you have special dietary requirements or allergies, you can inform your agent in advance. The meal options include à la carte breakfast, a relaxed buffet-style lunch on the main deck, afternoon tea with freshly baked treats, and a dinner menu that changes with the seasons, emphasizing locally sourced ingredients.

At the bar, we offer a limited selection of cocktails/mocktails, fine wines, beers, spirits, as well as a tea and coffee bar available throughout the day. Upon your arrival at Mfuwe International Airport, they will meet you and fly you to the Sungani airstrip in their plane. The total flying time is approximately 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can choose to travel by road, which takes about 3 hours from Mfuwe International Airport.
