Konkamoya

Konkamoya came to life in 2010 when Andrea stumbled upon this hidden gem nestled in the vast Kafue National Park in Zambia. The camp offers a breathtaking view of the lake and is surrounded by picturesque plains and diverse wildlife, promising unique and extraordinary experiences. With only four luxury safari tents accommodating a maximum of 8 guests (a Family Tent can be arranged for up to 10 guests), Konkamoya ensures an intimate connection with the wilderness.

The newly rebuilt luxury tents provide ample space, featuring a king-size bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen, offering a front-row seat to nature’s stunning displays. Each tent is designed for privacy while still allowing panoramic views of the surroundings, even from the indoor showers. The comfortable living area and intimate verandah provide peaceful spots to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings.

The Lapa, a modern space blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings, serves as the hub for dining and socializing. Guests can enjoy meals prepared by talented chefs and savor a variety of drinks at the elevated dining, bar, and lounge areas. The infinity pool and sundeck offer a tranquil spot to unwind and observe the surroundings, while the raised fire-pit is perfect for post-dinner conversations.

The cuisine at Konkamoya combines local and international flavors using seasonal ingredients, with an Italian influence evident in the menu. The kitchen, recently rebuilt, is equipped for creating delicious meals, including traditional thin-crust pizzas from their wood-burning oven. Dietary requirements are taken into consideration to ensure a delightful culinary experience tailored to each guest’s preferences.
