Kanga Camp – African Bush Camps

Kanga Camp – African Bush Camps

Kanga Expeditions is situated in a remote area of Mana Pools National Park and is open from April 1 to November 3. The camp is located on the edge of Kanga Pan, which is the sole permanent water source within a 20km radius, providing guests with a truly unique wildlife experience. Visitors can partake in activities such as the Armchair Safari, relax in the upper deck lounge, or take a refreshing dip in the splash pool while observing the surrounding wildlife. The camp comprises six luxurious Meru-style tents, each equipped with classic mesh windows and individual decks that overlook the pan. Every tent is furnished with fans, a dressing area, and an en-suite outdoor bathroom featuring hot water facilities. Additionally, Kanga offers a family tent with a private terrace and a honeymoon tent with a rolltop bath on a secluded deck. Guided walks and day drives through the wilderness area of Mana Pools are also available, providing guests with a contrasting experience to the floodplain. Access to Kanga Expeditions can be arranged via fixed-wing flights from Victoria Falls International Airport (approximately 2 hours 30 minutes) or Harare International Airport (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes), followed by a game drive transfer from Dandawa Airstrip.
