Shumba Bush Camp
Shumba is a luxury camp located in the northern part of Zambia’s Kafue National Park, in an area called Busanga Plains. It’s a great place to see lots of different animals and over 500 kinds of birds. From the camp’s deck, you can see all kinds of wildlife. The area is famous for its predators like leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, and especially the lions.
The camp is on its own little island in the middle of the plains and has six luxury suites on raised platforms. You can watch the wildlife from all around your suite. The food here is focused on Zambian cuisine, with many dishes cooked over an open fire and served under the stars. You can also have a special brunch out in the plains and enjoy a famous cocktail while watching the sunset.
