Explore Pumulani, the most prominent attraction on the captivating shores of Lake Malawi, also known as the Lake of Stars. Pumulani provides a distinct vacation experience, offering the opportunity to unwind in breathtaking surroundings or partake in a variety of activities amidst extraordinary natural beauty. The accommodation at Pumulani consists of ten villas, including twin, king, honeymoon, and family villas with interconnected bedrooms and a shared bathroom, accommodating up to 5 people. Five villas offer bush views, while the other five provide awe-inspiring lake views. Each villa features en-suite bathrooms with double basins, showers, and a bathtub. The honeymoon villa includes a unique outdoor shower and all villas are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and a stocked minibar fridge. Pumulani boasts two infinity pools, WIFI in the main area, and cellphone reception in most parts of the lodge. A wide range of activities are included in your stay such as snorkeling, fishing, sailing, nature walks, kayaking, mountain bike tours, dhow cruises, and village tours. Motorized watersports are available at an extra cost. The rate includes all local drinks and meals. A connoisseur’s wine and spirits list is also available for an additional cost. Pumulani can accommodate most dietary requests but is unable to cater for individuals with severe nut allergies due to the inability to guarantee a completely nut-free environment. The lodge operates on mains electricity with a backup generator and provides bottled water throughout the lodge. Children of all ages are welcome at Pumulani.
