Nanzhila Plains
Nanzhila Plains Camp
Nanzhila Plains Camp is a small lodge managed by its owner, located on the edge of a grassy plain in the southern part of Kafue National Park. It offers 2 safari tents and 3 chalets, all with private bathrooms and great views of the plain. The chalets can each accommodate two guests and provide a peaceful and serene setting. Meals at the camp are flexible and hearty, served in a communal outdoor area. The camp also offers the chance to see four of the Big 5 animals – lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo – as well as other wildlife such as cheetah, wild dog, hyena, zebra, and warthog.
Nanzhila lake camp
Introducing Lake Camp, the newest addition to Nanzhila Safaris, perfectly complementing the Plains Camp experience. Nestled along the Musa River and offering breathtaking views of Lake Itezhi-tezhi shoreline, Lake Camp features 4 tented chalets. Each chalet is equipped with modern amenities including flushing toilets and hot water provided by donkey boilers.
While the bedroom component is slightly smaller than that of Plains Camp, the Smiths have thoughtfully combined the vanity and dressing area with a beautiful en-suite bathroom. At Lake Camp, the covered verandahs have been expanded to offer longer and more equipped spaces, serving as your personal game viewing deck with stunning views.
Guests at Lake Camp can look forward to exciting game drives and visits to the Elephant Orphanage. Many activities will revolve around the captivating Lake Itezhi-tezhi shoreline and floodplains, providing opportunities to admire diverse bird and wildlife species that perfectly complement the Plains Camp experience.
