The hide Camp – The Hide

Discover the Hide Safari Camp, a premier destination nestled within the Hwange National Park’s eastern boundary, offering a stunning array of wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Recognized as Zimbabwe’s top tented safari camp, it features the Main Lodge with expansive deluxe, family, and honeymoon tents, offering mesmerizing views of a wildlife-abundant waterhole. For a more intimate experience, the Private Hide caters to couples and small groups, accommodating up to eight people with exclusive amenities and close wildlife encounters. Toms Little Hide is perfect for family safaris, providing exclusive booking and the freedom to explore Hwange National Park. Guests can also enjoy a unique night at the exclusive Doves Nest, indulging in an authentic safari stay in a private treehouse under the African skies.

At the heart of the camp is an iconic A-frame structure housing the dining room, sun lounge, and comfortable viewing area. Additionally, there’s a plunge pool near the main lounge and dining room. The lodges are tastefully furnished with solid Zimbabwe Teak furniture, each boasting its own unique decor. Amenities include a landline telephone service at reception, hot water for showers and baths, daily laundry service (weather permitting), and electricity throughout the camp.

Meals are served with elegance and style at the Main A Frame around a magnificent 22-seater teak dining room table. Tea and cake can be enjoyed upstairs in the A-frame overlooking the pan, while breakfast can be served alfresco under the Acacia trees. Along the Waterhole Hide tunnel, guests can discover a real wine cellar hidden in the wall, offering a selection of fine wines from around the world. Guests are invited to choose their wine for dinner or seek recommendations from wine pairing experts.
